This is my work of the post competition for Olympic. Although I am not in the 1st place, I'm still very proud of this post, because this is my first time to join a school competition and I really tried to do my best, so there's no need to be sad.
(P.S. Also, I appreciate my friend who helps we a lot on this post )

Biking
The PowerPoint of biking
Biking
~ promoted by our hometown Kaohsiung ~
Here
in Kaohsiung, we have a “public bicycle rental system”. To encourage citizens to bike instead of
driving or riding a motorcycle, the first thirty-minute ride is free. You can
use a credit card or I-Pass card to pay for the rent, and then choose a fun and
exciting route to explore.
Most
popular routes start from the MRT station, which is just like the underground
in the UK or the subway in the US. One of the
most popular routes starts from the Central Park Station. It is located near the Urban Spotlight, a
place where arts and fashion meet. Rent
a bike, head north, and then enjoy the city atmosphere and art among it.
Formosa
Boulevard Station is right at the intersection of Jhongshan
1st Road and Jhongjheng Road,
also the mix of the Red Line and the Orange
Line. Main exits of Formosa Boulevard
Station are shell-shaped and designed by a famous Japanese architect, Shin
Takamatsu. Inside the station is artwork named “Dome of Light”, which has been
chosen as one of the most beautiful subway stations in the world.
If
you have a chance to visit Kaohsiung, touring
by bike is a smart choice.

A traditional craft
This is a traditional Taiwanese bamboo product, called the “blessing basket”. In the old times, when people are getting married, they will make many blessing baskets and put fresh fruit and gifts in it. Then, they will bring the basket around the town and give out the fruit and gifts to the neighbors. It is a symbol of sharing their joy and happiness.
The blessing baskets are in three different sizes. The large one is usually used on the wedding day. The medium one is used on the day of making a proposal. And the small one is for the cigarettes and treats to share with guests after the wedding feast.

The food that can best represent Taiwan
I think the food that can best represent Taiwan will be " rice dumpling " because it's a very special food in both Taiwan and China.
When I was still in elemantary school, my grandmother always made many rice dumplings at the Dragon Boat Festival. She usually put some rice on the bamboo leaves, and pressed it to be solid before she added some peanuts and mushrooms. Then she would add some stewed pork and maybe chicken. After that she put rice again. Last she folded the bamboo leaves to a pyramid shape and used thin strings to tight it up.
It tastes a little sticky because of the rice and you can also taste the salty favor of the stewed pork, peanuts and mushrooms. It's one of my favorite Taiwanese food.

Field trip to Zho-Zai wetland
I went on a field trip last Wednesday . We took a bus to '' Zho-Zai ''wetland beside Lian-Chi pond in Zuo Ing .
Because the volunteers introduced many special plants that only grew in the wetland , I learned more about why to use those plants , and where to find them . For example : a green plant like this

, may look very comman , but if you tear its leaf half , there will be liquid coming out , and the liquid can cure the stung caused by bees .
After this trip , I understood more about the envirament , and I want to do something to protect it .

A Nightmare
Then when Istood up , I relized I was bleeding . I tried hard to stop it from bleeding , but it just didn't work . I walked to the sink , and saw my face covered with blood in the mirror . I was looking like a zombie . I was so scared and I started to scream . '' Help ! Please help me ! Anyone , please ! " . But nobody answered me . I gave up and I lay on the floor , crying . Then I heard something strange , it sounds '' beep---beep---". When the strange noise was going louder and louder, I woke up . My alarm clock was ringing , and I was on the floormy head was knock on the table .
I'm glad it was just a dream .
